Now more than ever, with innovations like cross-laminated timber (CLT), wood is capturing the imaginations of today’s leading designers and building professionals.

In light of this movement, 100 Projects UK CLT was launched in order to showcase what’s possible with CLT. The book also highlights the benefits – building in timber is quick, clean, and easy. It can be achieved with a measured accuracy and lack of noise, waste, or need for material storage space.

This anthology is a study of the 100 most significant buildings constructed from CLT in the United Kingdom over the past 15 years.

Authors Andrew Waugh and Anthony Thistleton of Waugh Thistleton Architects contacted a wide range of individuals and businesses to interview them about their experiences building in CLT to help inform this book.

This book was also made possible by the Softwood Lumber Board and the Forestry Innovation Investment.
