Pearlman Veneers has teamed up with the Fine Décor brand, a range of environmentally friendly and recyclable German engineered lacklaminate boards. Sold under the name Fine Décor Lacklaminate, the Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) laminate boards have proven to be popular in the market.

“Increasing numbers of local shop fitters, cut and edge operators and furniture manufactures are contacting us daily and are pleased to have a choice of 11 new boards with matching edging available from our sister company, Upper Edge Products,” says Pearlman Veneers managing director, Darren Pearlman.

According to Fine Décor, the lacklaminate boards have been manufactured to the highest quality standards, having withstood 400 hours of light resistance testing as well as 30 chemical and 13 stress tests before they were introduced to the public. The quality assurance measures ensure that the boards are highly scratch-resistant, with high UV and chemical resistance.

Fine Décor Lacklaminate surfaces are ideal for furniture, shop fitting, hospitality settings as well as home and interior spaces. Applications for the range of boards include vertical displays, doors, drawers and cupboards.

Pearlman says a combination of surface, colour and texture is fast becoming the hottest trend in the South African market, adding that the range’s High Gloss and Super Matt surfaces can be paired with veneered boards to create an attractive interior scheme. Currently available in six high gloss and five super matt finishes, the range is expected to be extended soon.
