This year’s Decorex Joburg, themed ‘Designing for Africa – feels like home’, presents members of the trade industry with a really comprehensive selection of high-end products and services that are suited to the local and international market.
Taking place at the Gallagher Convention Centre from 7 to 11 August, Decorex Joburg visitors will enjoy two trade-focused days on 7 and 8 August.
Trade delegates attending Decorex Joburg will also benefit from direct access to two co-located shows; the International Sourcing Fair (ISF) and 100% Design South Africa. ISF is a trade-only fair which focuses exclusively on retail and commercial, giving trade visitors access to global innovations and product ranges in the home, gift, office and hospitality sectors. Running from 7 to 9 August, ISF brings together international suppliers and manufacturers with distributors and retailers from across Africa, all under one roof.
100% Design South Africa is the largest curated exhibition space for sourcing high-end contemporary design in Africa. This is an annual platform for leading brands to both launch and showcase their latest products suited to top architects, interior designers, developers, hospitality buyers, procurement companies, retailers and the media. Located in Hall 1 of Gallagher Convention Centre, this is Africa’s largest trade show for the design industry.
Sian Cullingworth, portfolio director at Reed Exhibitions, says the exhibition acknowledges Joburg’s extensive trade industry through a number of key features and programme inclusions this year, “We are acutely aware of time constraints placed on members of the trade industry, which is why we’ve ensured an easily-navigated setup displaying only the most exclusive and innovative trade items. This year’s theme will see a major focus on both locally-manufactured and locally-sourced products that meet stringent criteria for quality and function.”
