Exciting news for the timber industry is there is no longer a need to install loadcells under timber frames and consequently the time taken to install is greatly reduced. In addition, installations can be done on site removing the need to move the truck to a distant location for installation.

Dynamic Weigh Systems was established in 2010 when managing director, Ivan van Heerden, secured the sole agency for the VEI Group from Italy, global leaders in the field of onboard weighing systems.

Initially the DWS focused on the mining sector with many successful installations on wheel loaders, excavators, ADTs and Rigid dump trucks.

Recently, VEI brought in a new axle weight monitoring system for road trucks, which can handle any number of axle groups and suspension types.

DWS offers a once off installation system with no ongoing fees. The Trueload units can be coupled with printers, overload warning lights and, if necessary, connected into the trucks’ canbus reporting system.

DWS is in the process of developing a modem-based system for real-time information independently of vehicle reporting for those clients who don’t have telematics systems already installed.

DWS recently appointed Trysome Auto Electrical as a distributor of their products and they offer a nation-wide service footprint for DWS products.
