The WOOD Conference is aimed at a specialist audience from the fields of architecture, engineering, woodworkers, carpenters, planners, interior designers, schools and their students; as well as to investors and the public sector. 

The organizers want to convey ideas and inspiration in sustainable, green and energy-efficient building with wood, both in the high-end and in the low-price segment. The participants should not only be shown solutions in timber construction, but also architectural, settlement planning, technological and scientific background information should be explained.

This network event is institutionalized through the involvement of South African speakers.
